The brief
Nikita Mhaisalkar needed a complete lookbook for 22 garments — full body shots, multiple poses per look, and perfectly consistent studio lighting that put the clothing front and centre. She had booked Alesia Raut, one of India's top 10 models, assembled a full production team, and rented a large studio in Ahmedabad for a full 8-hour day.
The approach
We lit the studio for clean, consistent full body shots — controlled, even light that worked across all 22 garments without restyling between looks. What the client didn't know: I had a completely separate set of lights rigged on a second flash channel. The moment we wrapped the full body coverage for each look, I switched channels on my trigger and moved in close — shooting high-impact hero portraits of Alesia with dramatic, sculpted light. The final delivery had everything the brief asked for, plus a set of hero shots no one was expecting.
