This month has been an interesting one with regard to books. I decided to pick up The Sentinel, by Lee Child. Jack Reacher has been one of my favourite fictional characters of all time and I enjoy reading the thrillers from Lee. However, in the last few books, the character evolved quite a bit from the original and I was no longer interested. After hearing from a couple of people that the Sentinel brings back the original tough but gentle Jack, I couldn’t resist and started reading. I could not put the book down and enjoyed it thoroughly for the next couple of days that it lasted. If you like fiction, Lee Child’s Jack Reacher won’t disappoint.

The 2nd book I am reading this month is by Tim Ferris, The 4-Hour Workweek. This is quite a famous book for those trying to reduce their work and enjoy their lives at the same time. Unknowingly, I’ve been on the path of the 4 Hour workweek for several years now, working efficiently for a few hours and spending the rest of the time on what I love doing. I’m yet to complete this book, but I like what I’m reading and learning the importance of Time-Life balance, not a work-life balance. You don’t need to wait for retirement or to be a millionaire to enjoy its perks and you don’t need to work 9-5 jobs to achieve it. You can do it all NOW.

More on my method of living in later blog posts.
